James Edward Gross is a trial lawyer focusing on complex litigation including commercial litigation, probate litigation, consumer finance litigation, class action defense, antitrust litigation and counseling and criminal defense. The Law Office of James Edward Gross has been at work helping clients with their most important personal and business problems since 1999. Mr. Gross has been a lawyer since 1986.

James is a former trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, Midwest Field Office, where he won a number of awards and where as lead counsel, he successfully conducted complex lengthy trials and grand jury investigations involving multiple defendants in many different jurisdictions. While with the Department of Justice, James also conducted investigations of civil antitrust violations and was the lead attorney in an investigation of the real estate broker industry in Missouri which resulted in the filing a multiple defendant "rule of reason" Sherman Act Section 1 case. he also participated in the review of dozens of proposed mergers under the Hart-Scott_ Rodino and Clayton Acts with an emphasis on healthcare related mergers including mergers in the hosp[ital and hospital supply industries.
